Music

This class provides our children with an opportunity to learn basic musical expression of an instructional blend using different instruments (guitar, drums, piano, ukelele and Tamborini).

Children will focus on musical genres (Hip Hop, Jazz, Rock, Latin, Country, Reggae and Afrobeats), creativity (reading music), and sounds (Bass & Tone).

This will help our children with demonstrating basic knowledge and understanding of music. Build communication skills with their peers through various musical activities. Able to exude confidence in communication and increase emotional control.

Yoga

This class will provide our children with the opportunity through different forms of aerobic exercise. (ex: stretching and cardio) to learn self-discipline, balance, connecting with their inner thoughts, making positive choices, building self-confidence, respect, relaxation and forming deeper social relationship with their peers.

Arts and Crafts

This class will provide our children with artistic and creative expression through different forms of painting and drawing techniques...as well as colors, shapes, texture, sculpting and environmental arts design. Our children will learn new step by step drawing and painting skills each time, enhance their creative independence and build a healthy connection with their peers.

Play & Sport

This class provides our children with different playing and sporting activities (basketball, zenga, monopoly, hockey, Tic-tac-toe, soccer, boxing, bowling and baseball). Our children will develop their mental & physical strength, build healthy communication, dependability, patience and work with others.

Fitness

This class focuses on our children's mental, physical and creating a healthy active lifestyle. This class will give our children the opportunity to work on their body weight, physical strength, endurance, breathing and muscle tone. The Fitness class activities will include, but not limited to pushup, step aerobics, burpees, jump rope, trampling, obstacle course, curls, speed training, crunches and other age-appropriate exercises.

LIfe Skills

This class provides our children with an opportunity to learn basic emergency preparedness (Ex: first aid kit), Disaster preparedness (Ex; power outage & infectious diseases), Safety skills (Ex: Stranger danger & Community Helpers).

This class will reinforce in our children the ability to make sound decision during emergencies, identify unsafe situations, enhance their independence and able to understand roles of community helpers.

HOME ECONOMICS

This class provides our children with the opportunity to reinforce basic personal development and responsibility (Ex: managing household finances (savings and budgeting, indoor and outdoor gardening, table etiquette). Through this class our children will be able to make basic household decisions, solve counting and transactions problems with others, and showcase independence and leadership.

Karaoke & Dance

This class provides participants the opportunity to explore their creativity through singing and dance movements. Participants will sing and dance both independently and through working

with their peers that shares their passion for various genres of music and dance movements (Hip-Hop, Latin, Rock, Reggae, Country, Jazz, Blues & others)

Participants including non-verbal has the

opportunity to gain confidence and communicate in their artistic voice in a positive and

encouraging environment.

Our STAFF Team

Our Supporting Staff and Instructors have the following credentials.

Bachelor's Degree holders in related field (Psychology, Arts, Music, Dance & Special education)

On track for bachelor's degree (at-least 2 years of college)

And have experienced working with both children with and without disabilities.
